Carissa Marie Boeckmann (born 2003) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Portland Thorns FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). She played college soccer for the Texas A&M Aggies and the Florida State Seminoles.
Early life and college career
Born and raised in San Antonio, Boeckmann attended Incarnate Word High School before transferring to Antonian College Preparatory High School, where she earned two-time TAPPS first-team all-state honors. She played ECNL club soccer for Classics Elite Soccer Academy, earning four-time all-conference honors. She committed to Texas A&M before her junior year.
Texas A&M Aggies, Florida State Seminoles
Boeckmann played three seasons for the Texas A&M Aggies between 2021 and 2023. She made 61 appearances, starting 30 of them, and scored 6 goals with 10 assists. Her first and last games with Texas A&M were against the Florida State Seminoles, the latter of which came in the second round of the NCAA tournament. She also played for Tampa Bay United in the pre-professional USL W League during the summer in 2023, leading the team with 10 goals in 11 games and being named the Southeast Division Player of the Year.
Boeckmann transferred to the defending national champions Florida State in 2024. She played every minute of the ACC tournament, helping Florida State win their fifth conference tournament in a row. In the NCAA tournament, she was one of two Florida State players whose penalty attempts were saved in a shootout loss in the second round. She started all 21 games in her senior season, scoring 1 goal with 4 assists.

Boeckmann signed her first professional contract on February 16, 2025, joining Portland Thorns FC on a one-year deal.
